This jerk was calling in on my toll free number. There must be 30 calls over a 2 week period and then they stopped. Why would someone supposedly using Skype (which is free, supposedly) call an 888 number?

I am extremely disgusted that anyone would do this to people. Their interest isn't in getting the debt paid off..it is putting money in their pockets.

Mark as Useful I have been getting multiple calls a day for the last 3 days; I have yet to answer their call. Clearly they are up to no good. As of tomorrow I will begin to call them from a random number several times a day so they can share my frustration and annoyance.

Mark as Useful I receive several calls a day on my cell phone number and the voice mail is a recording that tells me to call this number to activate my Wachovia debit card. It is the same number that appears in my caller I.D. as well.
